Filter outline in-place, with live columns and parent path
- Filter outline in-place.
- Columns remain same and are live.
- Add and grey-out any extra (non-filter-matching) rows to show the minimal "parent path" back to the root so that the outline logic is revealed.

mobile phone app
Web synchronization (already on this list) is a nice idea, but it would be even better if there an additional option: a stripped-down, synchronized version for mobile phones. It's very useful to have access to my information in MyInfo when I'm away from my desk.

Automatic adding of subdocuments to clones
With this feature, when a user adds a subdocument to a cloned document, all of the clones will be automatically updated to include the subdocuments as well.

Search within Filter or Tag-filtered results
Add a textbox at the top of the results of a Tag or Filter "search" labelled:
Search within these results: [ ]This would let you "drill down" within those results. Ideally, it would let you continue to narrow the search (although you could also just add more search terms to accomplish that)
USE CASE:
Often I use filters to get to a certain collection of items, like "Projects". I then need to "drill down" and search within those results. Currently there is no way to do that short of creating another filter. That's a lot of work (10 or…46 votesI will be added in MyInfo 7.

Tiled view in a topic
It should be possible to create a tiled view of multiple documents within the same topic. (At the moment we can do that only with separate topics.)

Search as you type
Searching should work without hitting the Enter key. The search results should appear as you type, so you can refine your search on the fly.

Syntax highlighting
I hesitated to suggest ths before, but now that 5.0 is out, I know you can perform miracles.... Syntax highlighting like the CodeBank freeware tree editor, but with all the power and flexibility of MyInfo. Yum!

User option: Changing color of program interface
I'm actually trying out varios outliners and very positively surprised about your program, esp the tree / column options on the left side window.
Wondering how to change the blue color of the program interface, it would be nice to have an option available to select a prefered color scheme (eg neutral grey, system color, Office style).

Create Favorite Filter Tabs in filter view
In filter view it would be handy to have our favorite filters as tabs at the top (much like the document tabs at the top in tree view)

There should be option to enter a "viewer mode" with editing commands disabled.

Highlight parents of due items
When an item comes due, it is marked red. However, if the item is collapsed under its parent, there is no indication that it's due. When a collapsed item becomes due, there should be a red arrow or flag next to the parent item.

have a "magnifyer" option
it would make it possible to read our documents comfortably on different screens with different "dpi" without changing the "style" settings for each topic.(or even making it possible for us to continue to work with tired eyes!)

It's often very useful to see non-printing characters such as tabs, spaces, and paragraph breaks.

possibility to merge tags
After extensive use of Myinfo the number of tags gets enourmous due to tags resulting of synonym use, typos, use of singular/plural or adjective and nouns ( antagonism/ antagonistic) etc.
Reducing tags to a minimum set is a lot of work and could be much more efficient if myinfo can merge tags (e.g. selecting existing tags and having a merge dropdown menu or a seperate "edit tags" menu)
