    • Filter outline in-place.
    • Columns remain same and are live.
    • Add and grey-out any extra (non-filter-matching) rows to show the minimal "parent path" back to the root so that the outline logic is revealed.

  2. Web synchronization (already on this list) is a nice idea, but it would be even better if there an additional option: a stripped-down, synchronized version for mobile phones. It's very useful to have access to my information in MyInfo when I'm away from my desk.

  3. Realistically, this will be much easier to implement than a full web backup & synchronization service.

  4. Several suggestions on this board involve selecting discontinuous sets of items. An easy way to define these sets would be to (optionally) display a checkbox in front of each tree item. This would allow you to define a persistent set of items for operations such as searching, changing tags or state icons, printing a selected set of items, etc. There are a lot of operations (especially searching and printing) where it would be very useful to define this sort of explicit filter while still being able to see the whole tree.

  5. If you e.g. edit an embedded presentation(ppt) and want to edit the graphics you use in your presentation in your favorite graphics suite whithout closing the whole presentation, it would be very handy to be able to edit the embedded graphics AND the presentation

  7. I have a topic that contains all my passwords. I will search for a password, copy it and then close the topic. Unfortunately this leaves the password open in the search pane. I would suggest that if a topic is close then it is removed from the search results.

  9. When an item comes due, it is marked red. However, if the item is collapsed under its parent, there is no indication that it's due. When a collapsed item becomes due, there should be a red arrow or flag next to the parent item.

  13. When you have a web clipping it would be nice to have a prompt as to where you want it placed in the MyInfo file. This is instead of (or in addition to) having a default location where all web clippings go.

  14. Automatically focus on the pane that the mouse is hovering over. This behavior allows scrolling without needing to first click in the pane. It is consistent with current trends (as in Office 2007), and I think it's an intuitive and helpful behavior.

  16. Export ALL "voices" of interface in a external file [i.e a txt file or same that can be edited with a editor].
I suppose that each user of myInfo is candidate for to be volunteer for translate in proper language the interface and... You have a big international package.
Note: the translation must be send you and you can approve the new language including it in a separate download.
I think that is a big effort, but this increases the value [already big] of your software.

  19. This would allow you to group similar tasks or items in a context. You could then create a kind of dashboard to group similar items across numerous topics. You would not have to search each individual topic for a next action.
