Embed external web images
Instead of only storing images in the database, you should also allow the ability to embed external images from the web (say from Picasa or Flickr). This way you can have as many images as you want, but still have your database file remain small for portability.
I have demoed every outliner/personal organizer software out there, and none have this feature. I think this would be a real winner.

On mouse hover, change focus
Automatically focus on the pane that the mouse is hovering over. This behavior allows scrolling without needing to first click in the pane. It is consistent with current trends (as in Office 2007), and I think it's an intuitive and helpful behavior.

Add functionality to save the filter on a topic
Several of my filters are useful only in one topic, so I'd like to be able to save those filters to that topic so they do not clutter the filter list on other topics

Support several layout views (different configuration of displayed field in tree pane)
In the tree pane it is possible to select displayed fields. It is convenient to be able to switch quickly to a view showing only the tree (document field and no other field).
It can be also interesting as a plus to be able to define several views with a different layout of displayed field.3 votes -
Add "Recently Used" list for commands, such as Linking
When I'm creating a new group of documents, I'm often cross-linking, or linking among a small set of other documents. I'd love the HyperLink command to bring up a list of the most recently linked documents so I can pick from it -- there may be other commands where this would be helpful as well.

Add option to have a date stamp recorded or placed in each document as it is used.
So that a sort could be made of the most recent pages/documents to be used.
Maybe I am wrong, however as far as I can see, other than one's memory, it is impossible ti tell which pages were last used?

Add extended selection to the editor
Currently, double-clicking a word in the editor selects that word, but you can not drag and add adjoining words to the selection as you can with typical word processors. I'd like to see the editor behave more like Word in this regards, as well as selecting a whole paragraph by triple-clicking.

Visibility of attributes in text editor
Sometimes I have to work heavily with data in tables, and I use the Attributes for this. By incident I found that the attributes can be shown as a table in the top section of the text editor. Today I spent half an hour or more to re-create this view - it does not show up in "Window", not in "View > Attribute", not in context menu for text editor - but is deeply hidden in Tools > Form Editor > check box Show form", and no hint even in "Help".

preview in tabbed editor pane
Would it be possible to add a tabbed pane to the editor window where we could see the writing as we progressed? WIT (Web Idea Tree) does that and it's invaluable for writing. It's great to see bit and pieces and organize using the tree, but to have a tabbed pane for the preview would AMAZING! It would make MyInfo one of the best writing tools around!

fix the apostrophes and commas when pasting text HTML
copying text from HTML fails to convert the apostrophes and quote marks correctly, so they appear as, for example, ’ rather than '.

In-stream document creation and linking
I'd love to see an additional form of document creation where as I'm typing, I can use a special tag to tell MyInfo to create a new document with this title I typed. For example, using //My New Document// or ||My New Document|| would create the document and a link to that document. It disrupts my train of thought when I have to stop, create the document I want, then link to it. Show topic creation and last updated date
Instead of having to have the Attributes pane open, I would like the topic creation and last updated date in the Text Editor title, right justified, so that both the title and the dates are shown. An alternative would be to show these dates along the status bar at the bottom of the window.

Close the search pane for a topic when the topic is closed
I have a topic that contains all my passwords. I will search for a password, copy it and then close the topic. Unfortunately this leaves the password open in the search pane. I would suggest that if a topic is close then it is removed from the search results.

It was convenient to see if the document titles were wholly displayed or not!
