Reduce time it takes to save file
The larger the MyInfo data file gets, the longer it takes to save when using the 'automatic save' feature, or hitting CTRL-S.
I would like to see MyInfo adopt a more fail-safe file structure. That is, when using MyInfor, just the entry that I am creating or modifying is written to the file when I leave it. In the even of a crash while editing an item, the only work lost is the entry being worked on. Periodic saves of the entire file would not be needed.

Show topic creation and last updated date
Instead of having to have the Attributes pane open, I would like the topic creation and last updated date in the Text Editor title, right justified, so that both the title and the dates are shown. An alternative would be to show these dates along the status bar at the bottom of the window.

Larger tabs, please
what:
- I would like to see a setting for defining the size of tabs so that one can make them as large as needed/ comfortable, as well as the size of font inside;benefits:
- tiny tabs make navigation difficult, especially when there's a lot of them and add visual strain. Large computer screens are already a standard, so we should be able to benefit from bigger tabs.implementation:

Word / character count feature
Please add a word count feature. This is implemented in TreeDBNotes and works like this: The user highlights a block of text and the counter shows how many words and characters/letters are in that block. This is very useful to writers, writers, editors and researchers who need to keep within strict word limits.

Expand the FIND function to include Document Titles
I store key information (words) in my Document Titles - and it would be great if the FIND function (Ctrl-F) searched the Document Titles (in addition to the Document text).

Show Favorites as a bar in the UI with button 4 ea. favorite
This would be very powerful.
If you just had a bar across the bottom of the tree with a list of your favorites, with each favorite being a button, you could make them all filters, etc.
That would give you FAST access to the most used filters AND shows you which filter is currently applied.
Uorganized does a very very nice job with this. Check out their screenshot. The filters bar has a button for each type of filter. And the applied filter is highlighted.

Import a txt file into a topic outline.
Each line would be imported as a new task or item in the topic tree. This would allow you to use a mind mapping program to brainstorm your plan then import all of the tasks or items for processing.

Remove "Parent" prefix from Search/Filter results
Search results will be easier to read without the "Parent:" prefix on the parent item.
The search/filter results show the parent item (which is GREAT) but also prefix the results with a symbol for parent and the word parent:
E.g.,
[symbol] Parent: Write Employee Evaluations
The symbol and showing the parent as bolded blue is sufficient.

The feature would permit users to hiperlink a telephone number to make calls via Skype or similar applications by clicking directly on the link.

Allow multiple "embedded file" edits
If you e.g. edit an embedded presentation(ppt) and want to edit the graphics you use in your presentation in your favorite graphics suite whithout closing the whole presentation, it would be very handy to be able to edit the embedded graphics AND the presentation

Allow 'mon' or 'tue' for date attribute entry
MyInfor allow you to enter "monday" or "wednesday" in the date attribute field, and it will automatically enter the correct date. I would like to be able to enter 'mon', 'tue', 'wed', etc. instead of having to enter the complete name of the day.
