allow a task item to convert back to a document item
If I add a due date to a document tree item, it converts to a task (checkbox) ... which is okay. But I see no way to convert it back to a document item (doc icon). Better, allow any tree item to have a due date without a checkbox. Marking as "done" could optionally be in a right-click menu.

Keyboard shortcuts for Custom Styles
Currently, only predefined styles can have keyboard shortcuts. I'd like to see an extra field in the Style dialog that allows you to define or change a shortcut for the style. The field should be available for both custom and predefined styles.

branch (subdocument) colouring
what:
- currently we can add icons to a branch (aka document or subdocument) but it would be nice if we could also add background colour to it. To see better what I mean you could right-click on a branch in TreeDBNotes and then select "Style".benefits:
- when I first noticed this feature in TreeDBNotes my brain sorted it into the "bells and whistles" category. Now I cannot live without it because it is so useful! I actually see it as an extension of the hierarchical organisation of information. With a lot of branches it helps you easily see…1 vote -
Import from TreeDBNotes
what:
- import from TreeDBNotes is now possible via workaround: you export a tree from TreeDBNotes as Files and folders and then import it into MyInfo from that format. This is very slow though as you need to export trees tab by tab and sometimes some bugs appear throughout the process. It would be nice if we had direct and fast import.benefits:
- even though TreeDBNotes has some amazing features (not yet available even in MyInfo) and has set the bar too high as a whole, it is not being maintained any more. Its author shut down the user…1 vote -

Repeat alarm setting so no need to reset alarm after completion.
I have a lot of alarms that repeat and it would be nice to have that option when setting the alarm or option for alarm to repeat when marked done.

Use optional checkboxes to define a filter
Several suggestions on this board involve selecting discontinuous sets of items. An easy way to define these sets would be to (optionally) display a checkbox in front of each tree item. This would allow you to define a persistent set of items for operations such as searching, changing tags or state icons, printing a selected set of items, etc. There are a lot of operations (especially searching and printing) where it would be very useful to define this sort of explicit filter while still being able to see the whole tree.

command line option for search in specific topic
Can we have an option to search in a particular topic?
I know we can do it already by selecting the search option, but having a command line interface would be great.Example:
receipt topic:Expenses tag:food
